The 5th International UV and Skin Cancer Prevention Conference this year takes place at the Lamot Conference and Heritage Centre, centrally located in the town of Mechelen, a short train ride from Brussels and Antwerp in Belgium.
The venue, previously an old brewery, is a multifunctional and integrated space providing 8 comfortable meeting rooms as well as a cultural heritage service. It provides a place for public projects around the Mechelen’s cultural heritage such as big summer exhibitions and is a focal meeting point for Mechelen as well as hosting an increasing number of international meetings.

LOCAL AREA INFORMATION
Located Placed about 25km from both Antwerp and Brussels, the city of Mechelen has a wide range of meeting venues, accommodation and restaurants for an international conference. It is a charming city full of heritage and almost everything is within walking distance!
Mechelen is very easily accessed by train from Brussels and Antwerp, with trains running regularly throughout the day. Further details about train travel can be found at www.belgiantrain.be/en.
